One of our clients in the Pittsburgh area is hiring for multiple openings in their manufacturing department. Entry-level applicants are welcome.
Manufacturing Openings: Pittsburgh, PA
**Must be able to pass pre employment drug screen and national criminal background check**
Reliable transportation is a plus, as well as a solid work history in manufacturing.
Positions include but are not limited to:
Crater: (1st shift $12+/hr) build wooden crates to ship stainless steel panels. Must have carpentry skills, excellent tape measurement skills, the ability to read blue prints, and be competent using a computer.
Blaster Feeder: (all three shifts $12+/hr) very repetitious work, cleaning stainless steel for a blasting process, must possess an attention to quality, strong use of a tape measure and visual inspection of steel.
Onstrud Machine Operator: (1st shift, $13-16/hr) MUST have experience running machines in a manufacturing environment (minimum 2 years experience); including CNC programming. The position requires mathematical skills and must have the ability to read blue prints.
Welder: (2nd shift, $15-18/hr) TIG and MIG skill primarily on aluminum and stainless metals. Basic math skills needed. Computer knowledge a plus.
Metal Former: (1st shift, $12-18/hr DOE) operation of press brakes and rolling equipment. Ideal candidate must be eager to learn, be attentive, be able to retain information, have an excellent attendance record, basic math and computer skills are a plus.
Assembler: (1st shift, $DOE) must be proficient with hand and power tools, have excellent tape measurement skills and ability to read drawings. MUST have a mechanical background.
Utility Coater: (1st shift, $12/hr) prepare castings for coating process, ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis. Very labor intensive.
Shipping: (2nd shift, $12-14/hr DOE)
Saw Operator: (3rd shift, $14+) Cutting material to drawing requirements, previous saw operating experience is a plus. Must have strong math skills. Solid experience with saw/electrical (low end) and assembly.
